Legal Services
My policy is to work very hard to do an excellent job for every client. This includes providing high-quality legal services and obtaining exceptional results for you, at an affordable cost. Accordingly, I do not take on more matters than I can properly handle, so that I can give each case my full personal attention.
Costs &
Credit
Providing high-quality legal services does cost significant time and money. If I were not paid adequately for legal services, I would be forced to take on more work, and service each client less, and I am not willing to do that. Rather, operating a small law firm means that every client gets maximum effort at minimum cost. It also means that, as a solo provider of high-quality legal services, I am unable to extend long-term credit.
Since I am sensitive that it is difficult to pay for unanticipated legal expenses, my Standard Retainer Policy allows for a 3 month Payment Plan, providing that you pay at least half down.
Further, as a courtesy to my clients, I accept Credit Cards including Visa™ and MasterCard™. If you need to finance legal fees, you should borrow from Visa, MasterCard, or other resources.
Contract
Engaging legal services is a contract. I commit to represent you well, in a timely and professional manner, and in return, I expect you to keep your account current and fully cooperate with me in preparing your case by following my legal advice and instructions. If you are unable to keep your account current or follow my legal advice, please notify me, so I can arrange payment or assistance with your case, or withdraw as your attorney and help you find an alternate lawyer.
I trust you to be responsible for the bill payments, and in handling your responsibilities in the case, so that I can focus on what is most important: representing you well.
